Coverys International Insurance Company DAC trading as Coverys International is an AM Best A rated company and part of the Coverys Group, a leading provider of medical professional liability insurance.
We underwrite insurance, primarily through delegated authorities, for small to medium enterprises (SMEs) and micro‑SMEs on a primary and excess basis. Coverys International offers capacity throughout the European market via an expert, niche, and group‑owned network of managing general agents (MGAs). We will also consider bespoke open market solutions that are aligned with the company’s overarching underwriting strategy and appetite.

Ronan Gerety is Chief Executive Officer of Coverys International, leading Continental European growth and expanding the company’s footprint through strategic partnerships with regional brokers and MGAs. He oversees market development across Europe, leveraging deep specialty insurance expertise to support Coverys’ long-term international objectives. Prior to joining Coverys International in 2026, Ronan built a 40-year international career in specialty insurance, including 25 years in Continental Europe. He began in the Lloyd’s market and with Gerling Group in London, and subsequently held senior leadership roles across Germany, France, and the Netherlands with leading specialty insurance carriers, including Catlin, Ironshore, and Liberty Mutual. Most recently, Ronan served in leadership roles at cyber MGAs Cogitanda and Eye Insurance. He holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Sheffield Hallam University.
Emma brings almost 20 years experience in the Insurance Industry. After studying International Insurance and European Studies in Ireland, Emma originally trained as a property and liability Loss Adjuster, then moved to the Insurance Directorate of the Central Bank of Ireland where she worked for nine years. Most recently Emma was the Chief Risk Officer for Beazley Insurance in Dublin where she was also an Executive Director for one of the Beazley Group entities. Emma is a passionate believer in the value of risk management with a key focus on embedding a positive risk culture as its cornerstone.
Saurabh has more than 20 years’ experience in the Financial Services sector with his main focus being in the insurance industry. Saurabh has worked across a wide variety of disciplines including Audit, P&L Management, MIS, Financial and Regulatory Reporting, Forecasting, Budgeting and Treasury. Saurabh has a proven track record of delivering in Fintech with multinationals. Saurabh is a member of “The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India”, having qualified as an Associate in 2004. Prior to joining the Company, Saurabh was working with Prudential International Assurance PLC (part of M&G Group in the UK).
